Hellow everyone, I'm still around!

First of, Happy New Year 2022. It might be tempting fate to ask for it to be better than last one, so instead I'll say, I hope anyone reading this can have good vibes starting of the new year and if not, that things can look up for them in the near future. You've made it through the first two hellish years of this decade, thus you deserve a good pat on the back~.

Now then, it's time I give you an update on my life yet again, cuz when you saw this in your notifications you prolly wondered either "who the hell are you?" or "why haven't you done or said anything in so long?". Which is understandable, I've been silent over here since the last journal, which was five months ago.
In terms of life, I'm currently doing alright. My contract for work got renewed for another six months (that was back in October) and it has kept me decently busy. Worried about my first (and possibly not last) trip for work purposes, due to the place being decently far away from home and just... really not being used to travel. We'll see how that goes. Things with family are going okay, though I've been feeling like it'd probably be good for me to move and live in a house for myself in the near future (though it's still early, so for now I'll just be saving money for that). And speaking of family, a couple of new cats joined ours, which have been a large part of our attention at home lately. I love them though.

Okay, so now for the part that probably matters most to you if you're still following me or started to follow recently. Am I planning to go back to art? Didn't I say I'd buy a new table to continue doing art? The answer to that last question is... yes, I did! I'm rocking a Kamvas Pro 16 and I've been quite happy with it. A smaller display art tablet is much more comfortable for me, even for things unrelated to drawing.
Now, the answer to the other question is... I don't know when or if I'm going to upload or make art of the same quality as I usually upload. Hell, I haven't exactly felt motivated or just in a drawing mood for a while. It makes sense to me, I'm not exactly someone who draws as a hobby or really feels the need to want to draw stuff, I mostly did it as a way to kill time and participate in art-related stuff with friends. And that's got more difficult as time has gone on.
So yeah, the short of it is, art is going to keep being on indefinite hold. I understand if people would rather unfollow because of that. It's been an absurdly long time since I actually uploaded an original art piece done by me.

So what else? Well... I don't know. This year seems like a good moment to think what stuff I'd like to work on and pursue. Been thinking on starting streaming, based on watching friends actually do it and one of them starting to get somewhat popular. Maybe I can try to go back to learning to play instruments or stuff, since I kinda got into some music in the last year and half and another friend taking on drumming, which seems fun! I've tought about maybe writing stuff, thought that'd require a bit more effort and especially creativity (thing I VERY MUCH LACK). And hell, maybe even going back on my work, trying to do art again and start the cycle anew. :D

Lastly, I wanna give my thanks to the people that have made my year easier to deal with after so much pain and grief (heck this year more than 2021 felt like 2020 Part 2!). The people I've been surrounded with and talked to regularly and have in return listened to my issues, they are awesome and have helped me a lot. Not gonna name them cuz it'd take too long, but if you're reading this, you know who you are~.

So yeah, let's start a new year! Hopefully I can give updates more regularly too.
