so out of my own curiosity wondered how much art i've been doing and so to kill it (curiosity is famously very safe for cats)

below is a listing of how many source image files i have for every month since i started in 2018. the actual count of "how much art" is close but some source files had multiple pictures result from it so it's a bit under. all that are counted are the gimp files, csp files, and saved png clippings from drawpile sessions

i started mid-year in 2018, and was going at a pretty quick clip before i guess motivation fell off and i was keeping myself to a mantra of "at least one thing a month" for the next two years and then 2021 happened

i've been drawing at least one thing a day since jan 17 2021, and i hope to keep that streak going, even if each day doesn't have a great picture, it gets posted on my twitter first

i'll try to upload art to fa at least once a month, if the pattern holds in two years i might even work up to posting it day of

maybe i'll remember to run this again and update it next year |3
