so I actually did catch covid :')

That explains why I have a lot of matching symptoms then.
Well, it's fine. I slept a bit last night, I'm hydrated, I'm eating. Feels like I have the winter flu, more than anything. Big sinus ache and tiredness. Actually got some of my energy back an hour or so ago, but it came with the trade of turning on all my sweat glands, so I guess there's still some bumps to discover :')
But at least I can stop wondering why this 'cold' has knocked me around so hard!

They don't tell you which variant (they might not know from the test), so could be any of em :') I'm fully jabbed though, so I'd probably be better primed for delta than omicron!

Hope you feel better. I am recovering from Covid myself. Stay hydrated and keep an eye on your appetite too. It'll come in waves if it's anything like I experienced. Power through!

Yeah, it'll be fine. There's a tickbox on the grocery delivery page for "someone is isolating" - I think they just bag it, leave it on your doorstep and run away.

I had COVID during the Holidays, all I can say is buckle up because it's going to be very unpleasant, at least with omicron the chances of dying are super low even if you're unvaccinated.

Tbh I feel like I'm through the worst. Fever broke, slept a bit. Fully vaxxed though. I wouldn't want to be un jabbed!

Gosh no! If they'd offered me extra shots with more brands, I'd have taken them to get the full array! Not sure how much difference it would have made; glad I feel like I'm through the worst of it, and it's "only" been a moderate flu feel. Got a hunch it might take a few days longer than normal to recover from though... guess I'll find that out later!

In my experience it lasted a week and even then I wasn't totally over all the symptoms.

Yeah. My housemate has had a bad cold since Friday. Haven't been able to find a covid test, so can't be sure.

I did my first playthrough of Covid in april'21, was ok, nothing major, just a cold for 3 days. Didn't play the Delta and Omicron expansion packs though and hopefully wont, since I patched my Immune System anti-vir with the 2nd shot last saturday~
