Completely understandable. That’s exactly why I don’t give mine out anymore. Often people just talked for a short while and if I tried messaging I got one word wonders or similar. Either that or they didn’t bother replying. And then sometimes I’d find I had been added to a wall of so called “friends” after speaking for a very short while. People are confusing.

I think I've only had two people from here who actually continued to talk with me put of the various people who I did give tags to. It's always a pain to have to 'vacuum' your discord from people who just sit in your friends list. I deleted one person who instantly reached me to say one simple 'hey how are things going' then disappeared right after. 🙄

That's fair enough, when I add friends, I either get "do you RP?", or they stop talking in the middle of my conversation..... or at least I try to initiate without looking like I'm spamming too much.

Same here, though for me it's more that you have to friend people on discord to chat, as opposed to telegram where people can just come and go without it being a hassle
