*clings* I do, but I have drawn some interest in a bit bigger things offline for my artwork. I have an upcoming children's book that I'm starting work on, and an offer to do an album cover for a band. I don't want them turning me away. I just don't think a website geared towards furry porn would look too great on a resume. I guess I have to do it for the sake of my professional career in art. It was fine and fun when I was just messing about with smaller commissons and all, but I feel that I could have a big break here shortly. I've made some awesome friends here, but I feel this is for the best. *big sis hugs* <3<3<3<3

I'll still see you over at DA, anyways. And you know, not all of us draw pr0n. In fact, I pretty much refuse to draw it, so... *shrug* Do you think this site is geared specifically towards pr0n, or is it supposed to be more/other than that? Just curious because you make a good point about the jobs and whatnot.

Hehe yes! I'd miss you way too much, and I'm glad you are there. :3 Well, yes I do, but I do see more porn here than non-porn. I do think it was supposed to be geared towards furry artists in general, and when DA refused to let people upload porn, they all came here. Back when I first started on this site, years ago, it wasn't like that. You'd barely find porn on here, just wonderful furry artwork. Now it seems like a compition to who can draw the most of it, truthfully most of it's not even good porn. Yes, there are still a handful of people that don't draw it, but again, they are few and far between. I just feel like I don't fit in here like I once did. I do want to be really cautious about my artistic future, and don't want to ruin a good thing if it happens to stuble along. *snugs tight*

Well that's very true, though for the moment this is where I am getting pretty much all of my commissions from, so I think for me it's good in that way and I've met some nice people (like you!) and I'm finding that DevArt is too large for me to get noticed, or be able to find people properly. Maybe I'll stick around for a while, or until the end of school, and see what happens.

I'm glad you are staying. :3 I still think FA is a wonderful site, and I would stick around if not for all the offline stuff. I'd still probably post less if I did stay though. DA is HUGE, but I'm also on a few smaller furry art sites that are fairly good, and I've gotten some good responses. I'm so glad I've met you, it's been fun! :3 I will probably still stick around and comment here and there perhaps. <3

Well that's good. I'll definitely send you messages on your DA site. Over there I just feel like a small, tiny little fish in a giant ocean. I'm pretty sure I will never get onto the front page, etc. My art just isn't streamline enough, or I do things too differently every time I do a new artwork I try something new so I'm not consistant. I think this leads to people being disconcerted, they never know what they are going to get from me. What is your children's book about? Are you writing it? If I ever write a children's book I might write it under a pseudonym, kind of like I have one for my romance writing.

Awesome! :3 :3 Yeah, I feel that way too sometimes. I always think experimenting is good. Though yes, it can confuse and turn away some people, like you said. Well the plotline to it now is simply that of being afraid of the dark/monsters under the bed sort of thing. I'm writing and illustrating it. It came out of a random discussion my bf and I had a while back, and I've always wanted to do a children's book. I like working under a different name, it seems more freeing that way. I do hope you wirte one someday! :3

Hehe... well, maybe. It'll be up there with all the OTHER projects I've got to do. For now I'm just content with all the other stuff I'm working on! But I look forward to seeing yours. ^__^
