I’m sure many of you have heard, but due to the state of California being SLAMMED with an uptick of Coronavirus cases (Omicron variant) and out of abundant caution (including a loss of staff, panelists, artists and dealers) - Further Confusion had to postpone the 2022 convention, an event that meant so much to me. I was truly looking forward to attend my favorite furry con - I pinned my hopes that we would be passed the most critical phase of this almost two year old pandemic to have FC hosted safely, but this virus had other plans. It’s depressing, but necessary - as people are getting infected a lot faster and I knew of one furry who has died (Fred Michels Phrez Bear). I had my vacation time reserved, and decided to go ahead with the trip by staying 3 nights at San Jose Marriott (Instead of 5 nights) and like last year, support the hotel and restaurants that support US annually in mid-January. I will fursuit once again outside on the outdoor patio in front of San Jose Convention Center and participate in a outdoor ‘picnic’ nearby at San Jose State University on Sunday Afternoon (01/16).
