I was also still awake then! Although for me, it was more of a... "Hoopy wanted to hunt ghosts and was bribing me to stay awake for longer with cute drawings". A worthy sacrifice.

In a similar vein, I was up at 02:00 lamenting how long it's been since I've had a game of MtG. Different nerdgasm, same developer.

Paper magic, or MTGA? I haven't played paper in years (even before the pandemic) but stopped MTGA around the time when it was all dimir rogues. Not so much because that was a god-awful meta, but because it was just too much of a time investment to play enough to get cards I wanted without spending real money on the game.

Perferably paper magic, ideally EDH, but I live in the middle of nowhere, so no LGS for >30 miles, and too unstable an internet connection to support MtG:A either. :/

Yeahhh, not so much a fan of dimir either. Big dumb green trample creatures for me, please!

Haha, my kobold is called Moxt Ixen. It means 'little flame' in draconic! And it was very fun. We met a talking whale, then travelled to a shipwreck frozen in the ice and almost got killed by a frost-troll, but beat it in the end. Moxt got the killing blow! :)

So an average Tuesday then? That might just be the cutest name ever for a kobold.

Indeed! He was the product of a legit version of that classic D&D thought experiment: "What if your group of adventurers comes upon a lair of evil creatures, kills them, then finds babies/eggs, and has to decide whether to destroy them too as the spawn of evil."

In this case, the adventurers took the kobold egg back to Baldur's Gate and gave it to a temple to do with as they wished, so they didn't have to make the choice. The temple hatched the egg and the kobold was raised as an acolyte of Lathander, god of the sun. Though, being a kobold, he's sensitive to direct sunlight, so was shunned by much of the priesthood. ;-;
