The irony is that they pulled Pepe from the movie because he allegedly ‘perpetuates rape culture,’ and yet they included the Droogs from A Clockwork Orange who’re actual rapists in their supposedly family-friendly movie too. Space Jam 2 was a soulless cash-grab made to show off all the shit that Warner Brothers owns, but without really depicting them doing anything.
Space Jam 1 was a cash-grab too, but at least the people working on it cared enough to make it feel like a legit fun movie. Haven’t seen 2 yet, but the trailers and snippets I’ve seen don’t make me want to.
