Yeah. If Twitter ever worked out how to present like a gallery, that would be helpful - I might even use it - but right now, browsing on my phone is too much faff.

i personally find it interesting how gallery websites have still maintained a niche- a lot of why i veered away from them was just ease of posting elsewhere. i could throw something into the void and forget about it, and i like that i can reblog/retweet/etc my stuff for those who missed it. but then with gallery websites having an inbox kind of makes that less big a deal bc people *tend* to want to go through everything. people don't want to comb through their social media timelines for the reason you mentioned, yeah. and social media was great for automated crossposting services like IFTTT & zapier - but now postybirb exists. i haven't tested postybirb yet but i intend to
