It is pretty cool when you write characters in such a way that it brings out strong emotions in people knowing that people love (or hate) characters you've written means you've done and awesome job..but yeah sometimes folk can get really worryingly carried away.

My thoughts are always on how to save the victims rather than punish the bad guy. Some of the comments are a little too disturbing when they get graphic.
What really bothers me at the moment is that there's someone on one of my stories posting those things in support of the abuser, fantasising about what they should do to the supportive friend character who's trying to help.

Because I don't like the subject and don't want to draw it. This is old news, I stopped offering diaper commissions two years ago.

I didn't know that. It's a bit sad, you draw diapers very cutely. But if you don't want to draw them it's entirely your choice not to.

Entirely reasonable, really. I *really* want to see that ending but that's just on me to decide if I want to wait or go to Cushypen for it I suppose. Either way? Really love having a comic from you with darker track to it.

Nothing'll change, since these pages have been drawn for so long already! My focus, as always, is Order of the Black Dog.

Sorry that you have to deal with people that completely forget to separate themselves from the comic. Like yeah some characters are written in ways in which they are meant to be completely unlikable, but people shouldn't be posting such awful comments. I've really enjoyed the comic from start to finish (thus far).

Jesse is an interesting villain. I hope he isn’t killed off. It doesn’t really fit the tone of the comic for him to die in a graphic manner, especially in a series that isn’t violent.

I really enjoy Blake and Wilson, and the small amount of diaper content you do.

Nope and nope - unless I have a drastic change of heart, this is it for diaper content out of me. I'm also not interested in continuing anything with these characters, although them doing cameos in Order of the Black Dog isn't out of the question; they're in the same universe, after all, and one of them already appeared in a page.

*Applauds this change of heart* I've been reading since concession but have never been a fan of the whole diaper thing... From any furry artist, I've also never given any money to any artist but you would be the first I'd do it for. Are shinnies a way of making a donation?

While I agree, violence shouldn't be the first answer to everything, I would make very few exceptions. Jesse would likely be one of them. Most physical wounds heal over a short time, however the psychological games Jesse has been playing will last a lifetime even with proper help and support. In a way I would compare him to Hannibal Lecter. He is smart enough to know what he wants and ways to coerce others to get his way. Once he is in their mind, the game is over for the "Victim." The question isn't just how to stop Jesse, but how to prevent him from causing more harm to others? Sure he could be returned to the hospital, or sent to prison, however hes already shown the ability to circumvent the system by controlling a guard. I also feel that Jesse, like Hannibal, doesn't feel a sense of being wrong, but more the fact that he's doing what feels right to him, making him a bit scarier than most story villains.

As hard as it may sound to some, extreme physical violence or death may be the only way to put a long term stop to the character. While I won't go into details, (I agree with Immelmann, there is no need for extreme graphic mental imagery) the only way I could see stopping Jesse from continuing to harm others would be seriously physical. To be honest, I feel he deserves it for the lifetime of mental damage hes caused Blake, Wilison, and Dan, and the pain that would inflict on their mates and friends as well.

Still, this is a good story, and I wouldn't dare demand the writer change anything or remove a character (even one as evil as Jesse.) I look forward to seeing the storys ending.

It's literally a story about trauma and abuse. There's a lot to take personally. The issue is how people talk to me in comments about it, not their emotional investment.
