IMO, Twitter is garbage. There's no reason to be there except maybe for a select few commissioners. Hence, I never found it worth my time to create an account. Discord, however, I would not leave. I've had generally better experiences with Discord than with other social media platforms.

Getting blocked for either seemingly no reason (or a bad one if a reason is provided) is a problem that transcends multiple platforms. It's not unique to Twitter nor Discord, and is arguably most problematic on Fur Affinity. Leaving platforms only cures the symptom, but not the disease, and sometimes nothing at all and instead makes the problem worse, as incentivizing you to leave the platform is the very goal of some of these people.
