3 reasons why I don't fit in with being a furry

I joined the community at least because it was the CLOSEST community that relates to what I like. But just because it's the closest thing that fits, doesn't mean it IS the exact community I fit in. Here are the reasons:
1. Most stuff that typical furries are interested in I don't really care for. Like most furries are into NSFW, but I never cared for it because I always found it really weird and cringey seeing cartoon characters doing something sexual. Especially the one time I saw Arthur incest. Arthur raping DW. Oh gosh, that was....traumatizing. Seeing your childhood get ripped into shreds from that pic. And there are furries who actually like rape, or getting raped. Rape is a horrible thing and shouldn't be glorified.
2. I find out in real life that when I see someone in a fursuit, I get rather uncomfortable. It's mostly for me very awkward or confusing for me seeing fursuits, because I don't even know what I'm supposed to say or how I'm supposed to react. Maybe I'm not fit for that kind of social experience.
3. I tend to have a more conservative mindset, so the stuff that other furries think is good and encourage it, I don't agree with. I'm not really that political, but I don't agree with going around and having sex with any random person because it's basically common sense. Sex is supposed to have a lot more responsibility involved. You have to TRUST the person whom you're going to have sex with (preferably it should be man and woman, but it's whatever I guess), otherwise you're risking getting a STD.
The furthest I'll go is I still like drawing the characters and what not and RPing sometimes, but that's about it.

A furry is basically someone who has interest in anthropomorphized animals. I think there’s also other types of animal related interests that also makes you a furry.
You said that you like to draw furry characters right? I believe that’s enough to consider you a furry, it’s more simple then you think.
And it’s okay if you don’t like certain content in the furry fandom like “everyone else” does from fursuits in general to NSFW. Just because something’s popular in the furry fandom doesn’t mean you’re not a true furry if you don’t like it.
If anyone judges you for not liking something popular in the furry fandom, their the ones who should be ashamed, not you. It’s not their job to decide what you have to like to be a furry.
So all of the stuff you mentioned in your journal, don’t let it get to you. If you really into anthropomorphic animals in general, then you’re a furry, that’s all you need to qualify as one.
Yeah I still like anthropomorphic animals as I think they are a great way to express yourself and fun to imagine certain things.
I guess you have to like anthropomorphics at a personal level to be considered a furry. I’m not sure if I’m explaining it right.
Maybe you’re a furry if you think about anthropomorphics and what not like it’s one of the most important parts of your life?
In short, drawing and writing a story about them is as far as I would enjoy furries, but I won't let it be a part of my life and belief.
