He did indicate that he is still open to the idea of attending a con. But the way he worded it, it would have to take somthing very compelling to get him to attend. Who knows he might need a break for awhile.

My golden rule with which furry conventions I attend has always been the same: make sure there's someone there you know you'll spend time with. Fur the More makes logical sense for me because most of my furry friends are in the New England region (I won't name them, but one of my closest friends is only an hours drive from their current centre).

That's why I've never gone to the massive ones like Anthrocon and MFF; as nice as it must be to see there are so many others like you, it means little if you don't actually meet your friends there. Oftentimes, less truly is more.

Either way, I respect his decision to stop attending conventions regularly, and I wish him all the best.
