Hey um, Furaffinity? What the hell? New content was not competing against old content. No one was struggling to be seen. Your front page and categories show the newest stuff first, and you had a fully functional search by date posted feature (by ascending and descending order, even) if someone wanted to find the newest stuff searched for by a specific term.
This change you have made is unnecessary and quite possibly ageist, as it unfairly pushes older furries out of receiving any further exposure. I suggest you fix it before you start driving away the people who built the community you're now exploiting.

Also having keywords have more use now when searching benefits artists who tag their images correctly, since there are artists who don't bother tagging their art for some reason. Maybe this is the first step before they add the ability to finally block keywords.
They increased it to 5 years now too. Who'd still be active but without having posted something interesting in 5 years?
