There are rocks in space!
So I was just watching the newest (at the timne of writing this) Cody's Lab video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3Bma0bQh7A
Very early in said video Cody is seen holding a meteorite. It's not something novel or that much interesting to be honest.
But then I started thinking... THERE ARE ROCKS IN SPACE!
Now, how is this a revelation? After all we are on a rock in space. But the thing is, space is pretty empty, like REALLY empty.
Now the thing I'm really amazed at is that at one point it was just CRAZY SPACE DUSTâ„¢, with a bunch of elements. But it was just that. Microscopic elements making up the entierity of space. Then eventually through forces of gravity they formed into rocks, and somewhere along the line they formed the EARTH!
Isn't this crazy? There are rocks that you can find on the ground, but they weren't created though breaking bigger rocks on earth, they were made billions of years ago out of pretty much nothing.
That's pretty amazing if you ask me.
