Interesting Happenings...

Here I sit putting my thoughts together for possibly a long over due journal.
Starting back in December '21 I some how managed to get "pregnant" again with what I thought was a kidney stone . I've had the lil buggers bfore and the symptoms of severe pain in the back nausea and doubled over weren't there. A trip to the e-room CT scanner confirmed I had not one but 2 of them. not very big but just enough to give you grief. Back in the e-room, I was given a painkiller while I waited to be discharged. I got pressure again then relief believing I had just passed one stone. On my way home the bladder decided to empty itself NOW rather than wait to get home. I made a pitstop under the elevated tracks and went like a race horse. The relief was great but I do believe the first stone is in that alley.
I got called back to the urologist office and told I did pass the one stone... AND they found something else... Was shown the CT scan found as well as a mass 2/3 of an inch on the other kidney. Not being able to tell what that was I was presented with 4 options...
1) keep an eye on it to see if it gets bigger then act...
2) have a biopsy performed to find out what it is... sometimes small pieces don't tell you all that you need plus it seems biopsies cause the growth in question to blow up and spread all over...
3) Freeze or burn it... but we wouldn't know what it was and maybe how to prevent it...
4) We do a Robotic Right Partial Nephrectomy (cut out and remove the offending growth and the areas it had contact with...
I went with door #4 no 'IFs' 'ANDs' or 'BUTs' Get R2D2's cousin to just get it out and be done with it. Did have to wait a bit until I passed the second stone(which wasn't too long) and make an appointment for the surgery provided Omicron didn't delay it. I lucked out and on the 21st of this month, the squatter was evicted and now I'm functioning with 1.95 kidneys (get the joke?) I remember getting wheeled into the room and seeing the robot spider before totally blanking out and waking up in my room in a total haze. that anesthetic was kick ass to put me out that fast. There may be several small incisions on the outside but where the work was done feels like a blender was in there. Today I was discharged and relaxing at home healing up from that adventure. In a week or 2 I'll be back at the doctor's office and find out more of what sent me to the OR.

So they used conventional explosives on the invader? Better than a tactical nuke.
I hope things get better after they do that surgery!
Getting rid of the mass and finding nothing else does make me feel better.
The citric acid compounds in the lemon juice are broken-down in your digestive tract, and converted into citrates, which your blood stream carries into your kidneys (kidneys basically being the organic equivalent of an oil filter), where it will dissolve the stones. The olive oil, in the mean time, is broken-down into a substance that will line the ureter, essentially lubricating it.
After a while (anywhere from minutes to hours), the stone will simply disintegrate and get flushed out of your kidney; you'll know the instant that happens, and I do mean *instant*.
