Feeling very stressed out

Looking for some input on dealing with being ghosted by people that have been commissioned for artwork.
For context, i have a ongoing commission with someone to make a storyboard for a animation. They have been very consistent with delivering the storyboard since we came to a final agreement up until February 1st last year.
From then on, i havent heard anything back from them, except for a single response in November and nothing since then.
I have tried my best to be patient and generous with giving them time to finish what i paid for, but simply cannot deal with no activity from the artist anymore.
Would this be enough to consider releasing a artist beware about them?
Also, i dont want to abandon the commission just yet , given how much money i have sunk into it.

Yeah, I lost $75 last month for a storyline I wanted art for.
There really is not much you can do save post their names as less than reliable. If you don't want to expose them, I understand.
Me, I just eat it and figure that's the internet for you. Well that and Furs do sometimes prove a little flaky- shocking I know.
Start small and get to know an artist would be my advice.
So many are ready and excited to start projects... and then the real work hits- and the money was already spent. Time and getting to know them has worked for me so far. I don't always get the art I want, but some art is better than none.
Very sorry for your troubles friend. Know that as a writer, I have faced it to.
So this sudden extended disappearance makes no sense.
For now, i have decided to give them one last chance until the end of may.
