Hey ya'll,

So a quick update, I'm doing ok I know it's basically been 2 years since I last said anything in a journal. I left Goldman Sachs, joined the US military, Air Force, as a reservist. Finished basic training & a year of long term orders, and now I have a full-time job as a NOC tech at a nice civilian company during the month. I got Covid-19 back in January of 2021 and have been working through the Long-Covid symptoms that stayed with me. I've been coordinating with the military and my civilian healthcare to resolve those symptoms but it's slow going and although it's not life threatening it is burdensome to deal with this. That aside life's moving in a decent direction, and I might even have my own place with a furry roommate soon as well.

Even though my life is going in a decent direction I can't say the same for our eastern furry friends. Over the last 3 years I've had the wonderful pleasure to meet lots of furries and artists on both sides of the Ukrainian/Russian border. I love them to death and wish for their well being. It saddens me to see journal after journal, twitter post after twitter post of these friends and artists I've come to cherish essentially close shop at disappear because of some power hungry dictator who couldn't be reasoned with.

The Ukrainian's didn't want this, The Russian common people didn't want this. This war is wrong and shouldn't have happened.

Ukrainian furry friends are scared because their home just became a war zone, and our Russian furry friends are now suffering from the economic catastrophe that is coming their way due to their countries leaders incompetence. No one wanted this, and a lot of people who had no say in this conflict happening are now suffering for it.

For those on both sides of the borders I give my hopes and prayers that ya'll can make it through this. I wish there was something we all could do. Ya'll both don't deserve this.

I hope ya'll on both sides of the border stay safe.

For everyone else, please don't be silent about this.
