If the EU countries and the United States apply so many sanctions to ordinary citizens, then we will all die out here. We already have a poor population. And now things are only going to get worse. Politicians don't give a shit about these sanctions.

I am hoping the war ends soon. That is the only way I see the sanctions being loosened. I have a lot of friends in Russia that are already on the verge of poverty and this is only going to make it worse. A lot of us feel for the people of Russia. I really hope though that it isn't too long because my heart bleeds for you guys :(

I hope so too. It is very difficult when you are worried about your loved ones who are in Ukraine, in the war zone. But at the same time, you understand that here, in your native country, you are a hostage. In a country where speaking out in support of Ukraine can put you in jail. This moral pressure is very strong..
