No War 🌻

*Mic checks* Is-is this thing on?... Yes? Perfect. GREETINGS MY FELLOW FUZZ BUTTS! I haz announcement!
It's been 5 days now since this terrible humanitarian crisis started and I just wanted to make my voice heard and share how I feel about the situation in Ukraine.
My heart bleeds for the people of Ukraine and the terrible bombings their cities have been enduring and resisting. I do not want this war and I know that many of the Russian people do not want it either. The whole world is with Ukraine and for this war to end. Plenty of artist that I consider friends have voiced their repugnance for this war and the decisions Putin has made against the people of Ukraine. Many of them having family IN Ukraine and worrying for their safety and well being. Perhaps it might seem self-righteous for sharing my thoughts but complacency and silence is something that we cannot afford. It's what caused the Second World War in the first place.
I hope that people on social media and in public don't see the Russian people as the instigators and villains of this war. They are innocent and should not be villainized for the decisions Putin has made. He is solely responsible and we should help the people of Ukraine and Russia through these horrific times in Europe. I'm sure many of you have read it already and it's been said multiple times; however, I will say it again myself because it's what I believe as well. There is is no winner in a war; the death of innocent people and of Russian soldiers that do not want to be there is deplorable and heart breaking.
There is not much I can do myself directly, but show my support and solidarity with Ukraine and with the civilians of Russia who want nothing to do with this War. I hope that this conflict can soon come to an end for the sake of all of the people being affected by it.
My heart goes out to everyone experiencing this humanitarian tragedy and I pray for everyone's safety and the resolution for this war.

I hope this war doesn't escalate any further. Putin (and his small army of true supporters) are the only people who want to do this. May the people of Ukraine be safe and may Russian citizens stand against this horrible dictator
