I'm still alive!
I'm still here, in my apartment in Odessa, Ukraine. I'm tired of air alerts, bombing and this painful anxiety. I want to know that my friends and family are safe and alive, I want to be able to turn the lights on and don't think about light masking. Today russian army destroyed the main square in Kharkiv and - the most painful for me as a jewish - they destroyed part of the Babi Yar in Kyiv, memorial of the Nazi Germany victims. Place, where was killed more than 150000 people. Russian bomb killed them again in 2022.
Also, today my grandmother passed away. She was 92, she survived WW2 but not this war. She just... Give up.
But I'm here. And I wish all the Ukrainians to be strong as we always was. I wish to meet my friends and hug them so tight!
Слава Україні! Смерть ворогам!

Are you still able to receive money from PayPal? Are you able to get access to food, heating, and good communications signals?
My PayPal was registered to an intermediary from Russia, so unfortunately not. Other money systems such as Wise, Paysend and others still working tho!
In Odessa we mostly have food (some stores got huge lines and some products, such as meat and bread can be a problem, but in general - it's okay!). Utilities are operating normally and there's no problems with phone signals and Wi-Fi.
Black Sea takes care of us, last few days there was a storm on the sea and russian troops can't reach Odessa that way
I’m always wishing you, your family and friends all the best.
