While it is true that sex sells, if drawing nsfw makes you no longer like the act of drawing and causes it to become something daunting or dreaded to do, then ultimately the money won't be worth it. Take a step back and ask yourself "Will I be fine with this long term, or will this suck the life and joy out of me?". If the true answer to yourself is yes, it will become something you won't like eventually, then don't do it. If the answer is no, you'll be fine or indifferent long term, then go for it!
