about 12.700 people in total were arrested in russia for protesting peacefully against Putin's war of aggression against the Ukraine. with the systematic deactivation of social media, restrictions of the internet and the deactivation of liberal radio's like "Echo Moskwy", the freedom of speech and opinion is dwindling further. as of friday, Putin signed in a new law that punishes the spreading of "false information" about the russian army with up to 15 years of prison. this new law also affects any foreign citizen currently in russia or entering russia.

In my honest opinion, they're going through what Poland went during the end game of communism. Currency went to shit, no food in stores, brutality against civilians, mass strikes - we can only hope this regime will fall down.
