Hi have you noticed I am a bit obsessed with my star fox science fiction characters? Because I am a bit obsessed with my star fox science fiction characters. I remember that only like 2 years ago I had the idea for my world to be split into three: a modern, a medieval and a cyberpunk setting. I never did anything with the cyberpunk one besides implying medicine and cybernetics are more advanced in my worldbuilding but that all changed immediately when I made Eli. I had just finished playing every star fox game (except remakes of 64) and I so yearned for taking part of it, I made Eli as a tribute to both Krystal and Fox and I can't believe he was meant to be a bounty hunting fossil hunter at first. Batch quickly followed and then Marcus. And then Wanda... who started off as a secret AU version of Wolf I made years and years prior, I mean she IS Wolf still but the circumstances were different, I'm so glad I doubled down on just adding MtF wolf to my crew, she is such a blast to depict and I love her a lot. She's the kind of cool wine aunt everyone wants.

I'm just rambling here because I need somewhere to talk about this, I've been doing so much worldbuilding ever since I got all four members nailed down, starting off as off-world archaeologists and now they're world explorers in general. They have a big ufo shaped ship, Eli flies an arwing, I made THE coolest general pepper stand-in ever with Oda and tied her and Wanda further into the original star fox crew by casting light on how Wanda played Wolf in the tv show and Oda was Krystal's stunt double... gosh I am pretty proud of all I've written up about them honestly, and I have so much more I can depict. Like what Fox is up to, show what Wanda and Oda looked like 20 years back, just generally showing the crew and Frey being a family together. I love my goobers -w-

Around the time I set this team up I watched the entirety of One Piece in 101 days and I think it's had some serious impact on how I want to depict team dynamics. I must have subconsciously absorbed so much of it without realizing as I even named one of my characters Oda, like eiichiro oda? Either huge coincidence or I was influenced, either or. Doesn't hide the fact that in the end I based Oda off of Luffys and Krystal. I'm so excited to be doing more with these characters, I feel super pleased with all the details I've put into them.
