Pondering an auction for a friend

Hey there everyone... jeez it's been a while since I posted! My apologies on that for the journals being so few and far between.
I've got a conundrum and need some help: A good friend of mine is in a bind thanks to the IRS through no fault of their own, and I want to help. All I have to offer is my writing ability, so I have to ask: Would anyone be interested in a story commission from me, where I hold an auction and the high bid goes to help my friend and I write a story based upon the high bid's total?
I usually charge about 6-7 Cents a word depending on the content, and how comfortable I am with it. So if someone bid, say, $150 that would be about 2000 words, or several pages.
I'd love to hear if anyone would like a story from this silly phin to help a friend. Please comment below with thoughts, ideas, or "Yeah, I'd buy that!"
