I've lived in Northern Alabama for the last 11 years, and we've gotten snow just once in all that time. Tonight will be #2.

Unfortunately, we didn't have much snow this winter :(

Less than two inches for us. Melted off quick.

Two inches fell Friday morning here in mid-MI.

Just over 2 inches here in NW Arkansas.

I just want the temperatures to figure themselves out. 60 one day and 25 the next and today supposed to be back up to 50. WTF, Winter?

I'm in Asheville NC and we got a nice dusting here. First time I have seen that much snow since 1989!

Rif is right about the weather, even though he lives in the same state like me of course, but the quote by Will Rogers is definitely true.

Roughly 7" total accumulation over this winter; much of that in late December. All of it gone long ago. I live near sea level on Puget Sound, USA, between Seattle and Tacoma.

It's been snowing here in Asheville all day (during BRFF) however, the wind is blowing it all off and it's basically amounting to about an inch accumulation. Most of it is blowing away.
It's also super cold, too. Thank goodness for fursuits! Hunkering down in the con hotel, but I know packing out tomorrow will not be fun.

Just for once, I can actually say something about the US weather from personal experience. I was in Kansas only a few days ago and Wichita was experiencing snow flurries. Also, once I got back to Britain, I heard that there was snow in the DC area, which I was in only a week ago.

Wichita is actually my birth town... a long, long time ago.

I'm guessing it's changed quite a bit since you were born there. Kinda amusing for me to see most of the homes were partially underground.

Tornadoes are a big problem there.

About 6" a while back in Tacoma Washington.

I was in St Louis for GFM over the weekend and only got...maybe an inch? But not much stuck.

Compared to our snow? Nothing, because we don't get snow over here :P
We do, however, have "black snow", which is how we jokingly call the ashes that come from the burning of sugar cane fields that are nearby and from the volcano XD! Still, no snow is a fair trade off for getting tropical fruit all year long, something that I much prefer. One day though, when I visit both you US furs and Euro furs, I'll make sure to experience proper snow.
