It's Been Two Years. Time To Update.
Two years ago on this day, one of my best friends passed away.
A lot has happened since then. I have moved in with
bonk and have been trying to get back on my feet ever since.
seanblackthorne was a great friend, his passing was way too sudden, and everyone who knew him misses him very much. If I know Cory, though, he would want everyone to be happy and move on. We have all been trying our best, what with 2020 being absolute chaos, and the two years after being a really rough road to recovery. Regardless of whatever happens, I feel we will all face adversity the best we can, and pave a brighter future together, despite our fears and differences.
Believe it or not, my comics are still not dead. I've just been trying to kill my horrible commission backlog so that I can move forward, both on my comics AND my video game idea. One way or another I cam going to destroy the backlog, and then once it is done, I will not only increase my prices, but I will also only be taking TWO to FIVE commissions at a time. My own projects are important to me, so anything taking me away from them is going to cost enough to convince me to divert my attention. I apologize to the fans of the Night Realms/Mora series and the Abe & Dowel series for all the delays, and I thank you for sticking with me, despite the lost time.
As far as cons are concerned, I may drop by here and there at FWA, but I do not know if I can afford to stay in the hotel, so we'll see what happens there. I also plan on flying to Anthrocon if I can manage to afford a plane ticket. MFF is a maybe, but if things go well at the other two cons, I would definitely enjoy revisiting MFF and seeing everyone again.
Honestly, I have lost contact with so many people, and I have been stuck inside afraid of the world for so long that the thought of going to cons seems almost alien to me. I really hope that seeing everyone's faces again will light a spark in me, and help me return to a brighter mindset. .... Actually, fuck hoping-- I KNOW it will!
Meanwhile, all of you take care of yourselves and each other. Remember that as long as you are alive, you can do good things to help people; and even if you do not consider yourself a good person, do not let that stop you from helping others and doing what is right.

Speaking of, hope to snaggle one of those commission slots. Commissioned Bonk a few times, would love to add you to that list. :3
Hang in there!
This wonderful artist has passed away on March 20th, 2020. We're leaving his account up as a memorial
As for the comissision. The best thing to do it take them on one by one. Maybe one or two a week. Im trying the same and it works. Not sure for you tho. I understand 100% why you feel demotivated to do em at all after trauma like that.
Good on you for pushing forward though, and I definitely feel you on the massive backlog deal.
I'm in a similar position myself and still chiseling away at it but I know i'll get there!
Can't wait to see what you do going forward, be it your comic, or your videogame idea. Just don't overexert yourself on the way!
I had no idea your lack of activity was due to such harsh circumstances, and I send you all my sympathy along with my best hugs.
I'm very glad you're still around and doing better, and I can't wait to see more of your amazing work!
Take good care of yourself <3
