I have to state upfront that I am from Russia, and even though I hate Putin's criminal, lying, murderous regime with all my heart, and oppose this insane war, I realize that it may be impossible to look past my nationality while other Russians are still destroying your cities and killing Ukrainians.

Whatever your decision on tolerating me as a correspondent will be, I hope you are safe and secure at the moment, and I wish for this disaster to be over soon, hopefully with the Russians driven away from your land for good, and the liberation of the Southern Ukraine, as well as Crimea.
