Alive and Lurking

I know I haven't uploaded anything to this account in a while, not even the older work I meant to spend time adding. I haven't had the energy.
I've been getting various medical procedures and healing, still am and will be mega disabled BUT it is leading to some improvements.
I am also doing a lot of therapy right now. Which also takes up a lot of mental energy.
And I am drawing, but I went through a period where I couldn't. I'm trying to heal and rebuild a better relationship with art. Figuring out how it fits into my disabled life, figuring out how to make work for myself at all, figuring out when and how to do the work I want to do.
It's slow, and again, my energy is mega divided and limited right now.

I thought about making a discord channel but. Found it. A little too overwhelming and complicated for me right now.
I may upload more art here at some point, but I cannot predict when that will be. I appreciate those of you still interested in my work, I really really do. Someday I will share more of it again.
For the moment, I'm just lurking and following some of the incredible artists sharing their work here. But I thought I'd give a little bit of an update of sorts, and just let you all know I'm alive and alright.

I don't ever want to be one of those distant, unrelatable artists people feel like they can't approach though
That's speaking in general -- in this particular case, it's more of a display of collegial support to a fellow big fish, for the journal's author is an artistic legend in their own right.

For the record, you are one of my absolute favourite artists when it comes to portraying characters with soft physiques and expressions experiencing bliss; your character poses and critter designs are out of this world!
The nature of some your content has made me vacillate over following you more than a few times, I will admit, but then I have dubious tastes in other areas, as well.
It takes a lot of courage to upload controversial materials, even in the anarchic environment of free gallery sites, and you are owed some credit for that. I hope someday soon we as a society will grow mature enough to honestly assess the potential hazards that fiction may pose, and figure out our ethics in that regard, instead of launching blindly self-righteous crusades.
