Vigorous irrigation with cold water is the best way to remove white phosphorous embedded in the skin. Remove visible particles of white phosphorus while washing with large amounts of cold water or while the area is submerged in cold water.

Very interesting.
I suppose it is, and actually rather quite frightening that we see footage of what could be possibly white phosphorus used in the battle of Ukraine. Just hoping this message can be forwarded wherever it’s needed or helpful, to either side of the conflict (friendly fire is unfortunately a thing).

I wish that war would end. But it’s a catch 22 situation. If no one steps in then it continues as is, but if the US or NATO intervenes then it could escalate to global nuclear war. 😞

also fun fact: the eastern sea (the part of the ocean surrounded by germany, the baltic states, sweden, and finland to name a few) is still riddled with fire and smoke bombs left over from WW2. now, while the housings have corroded through the white phosphorous stuff is washed out and ends up washed up on the shores, looking like raw brimstone. a number of accidents have happened in the last years...
