Hey there, everyone! Been a minute, hasn't it.

I'm going to keep this short n sweet- I got... overwhelmed. With a lot. I expected to be able to keep just trucking on when I moved, but in truth, I needed a very, very long time to settle in. I really just did not understand how much shit I needed to move out of the (metaphorical) closet.

This may come as a surprise to some of you- and not a surprise to probably a lot of you- but I had a lot of mental growth and healing to do when I first moved states. I still am, in fact, healing and growing. But I'm getting better.

That being said, I do plan on scrubbing up my fA page, cleaning some things up, and getting back into the swing of things. I've been streaming here and there on Twitch, mostly games, but I really still haven't really touched art professionally since I moved. And I think that it's high time I changed that.

First thing I'll be doing is uploading Smudge's new reference sheet and a couple pieces I've worked on here and there- mostly just doodles, really. I've worked on my weebly site a little bit, nothing really needed to be changed there. I'll be opening up commissions shortly.

I will also update on my job status since I know the last journal I made was pretty grim- I do have a day job again. And I don't hate it! It's still retail, but I work in the copy & print center of an office supply store, which is pretty dope if you ask me because it's tangentially related to the whole art thing. (Getting your own business cards for an employee discount is pretty nice.)

Still wish I could change my username, but I'm not moving accounts because I'm stubborn. Just keep calling me Yuffi if you want, I guess, lol.
