This is absolutely amazing, I am so happy for both of you, but probably moreso for Misa. To be fair, I haven't talked to you about your life like I have with him, so I definitely don't wanna downplay any of your own bad experiences, if you have any, but it's just-.. Option #2: "Wine is the highest possible form of moisture on the planet": find a wine store with people who love wine and talking about it, trust them with grape type, country and region, pick a few different bottles (wine from one type of grape is preferable for an introduction); pay attention to the serving temp; form a plate of delicious goodness (at least 3 good cheeses, fruits, grapes, nuts, Jamón, any good bread like baguette or sourdough, honey.... gather all the tastes there); acquire nice spacious glassware to swirl the wine in, observe how the taste evolves....

It may seem a bit simple, but when I still drank on a regular basis I would have a coke with either Tequila (i liked teramana), jack daniels whiskey. Or an alternative option I liked was gin mixed with ginger ale, (either Bombay sapphire or Aviation Gin both are great)

Congrats to you both! Having only moved out about two months prior, I completely understand the thrill and stress. As for drinks, I can only recommend straight honeywine, also known as mead. I especially recommend anything wherein it is fermented with apple. My recommended brand is Viking's Blod. Be mindful, it can be stiff for new drinkers.
