I have been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis AND Osteoarthritis. Rheumatoid is an autoimmune disease. Literally my antibodies are attacking my body.The Osteo has damaged my lower spine and caused a pinched nerve in my lower back. Nothing they can do to repair the spinal damage but use a nerve suppressant med. I've been put on a chemo pill for the Rheumatoid which I've already been warned by someone that has RA that it will make me sick and hard to take. If that happens the doc has a back up treatment for me. I should be fine. the Doc said that the meds should fix me up easy peezy.

For those of you that watch me and have shown support thank you. I plan to continue drawing things and sharing what I can when I can. I love you all. You are the reason I keep my head up and draw. The doc does not encourage me to apply for disability. His reasoning was that the government is running our of money and wouldn't approve it if I did. My councilor, how has Rheumatoid also, has said the government would not approve me for disability. Plus The amount would not be enough to live on. So I will continue to work and hopefully get through the chronic pain. He believes this treatment should get me back on track. He seemed pretty confident but could also be his bedside manner when delivering news like this to a patient. *shrugs* Either way, I am hopeful and will continue to put one paw in front of the next.
