Now that it has hit midnight here and April Fool's is over, I feel this journal can actually be taken seriously. XD
But yes, this is very much just a big general update on me, what I've been doing, and what my plans are going forwards. ^^

Near the end of February, I was not doing very well at all. I'd lost some family, was left dealing with the aftermath of the loss, and then was put on unpaid leave from my job for almost three weeks. Those three weeks though were something of a blessing in disguise for me. It gave me some much needed time to clear my head and think about things.

And I've come to realize...

I do not like doing writing commissions.
I have turned what was once a craft I was passionate beyond measure for into another job, heaping a lot of stress onto myself where my main goal became to just finish the product rather than make sure it's good. The added financial pressure made it even more difficult for me to thrive in my writing, as I found myself unable to justify working on my own personal projects when I had paid stuff to work on instead.

And so, I am here to announce that I will no longer be doing writing commissions.
Instead, I think I'll focus mostly on gifts and requests for folks. It gives me the power and agency on what I get to do without the pressure of money hanging over me.

Of course, time is money, and while I don't like monetary pressure weighing down on me, I still would like to be able to earn something out of my work. And so, I would just like to remind that my Patreon is open to support.
There's not much there, one story I plan to post here soon enough, and I've decided I like it more as a tip jar than any sort of rewards incentive (at least for now), but even just $1 a month is very helpful in helping to support me. Especially given the direction the economy is going here. ^~^'

Now, I haven't been very active on my  silver-linings-telokey profile, where my sci fi universe is focused. But that's because I've been waiting on two amazing ref sheets for the updated versions of Louna and Ruby from the always amazing to work with  Trevhart~
Louna's ref is done. Ruby's is soon to follow. Once I have the visuals for my main characters, I plan to really start posting there more.

As for here though, I've got some fun stories in the works. A new OC of mine, Aamira the Lucario, has been a joy to work with in my personal prose and I hope to share more about her here soon. This profile is very much going to be where I throw my kinky ideas or just random writings. I do worry my lack of a unifying theme for me to be known for might make it hard for people to really get into my stories, but I'm going to give it a try.

I hope to make something of this profile, that's for sure. Something that can just help me get through life a little easier, be it through monetary support or just improving my writing. Thank you all for sticking around, and I hope to entertain!
