GPIM Update

It seems my previous journal was premature. However, this time I feel more comfortable saying that chapter 28 will be the end of Book 1. That said, chapter 28 was intended for release today but has been delayed as I feel the critical scene can be better. So I will be rewriting it and hopefully getting to a state I'm happier with. It's not in a state where I would usually delay to rewrite it, but the critical scene is of the closing chapter of Book 1 and an immensely personal scene. I hope to have the chapter ready to post next Tuesday, but make no promises.
In the meantime, you can get a preview of the chapter in my April Fools "Complete (1-67)" post. I will be leaving it up at least until I post chapter 28, after that I am undecided. Further, the brave/bored/crazy of you may scour the nearly 500 blank pages for secrets on 5 pages. This is not encouragement, I designed it to be frustrating. But for full disclosure, they are there.
I would also like to remind everyone that the Q&A is remaining open indefinitely. I was answering questions by Scyphozoa just last week. I'd love to see more names in the comments than just the 2 wonderful people there now.
Finally, rewrite of chapter 28 aside, I am hard at work on other, non-GPIM works. With Book 1 complete (or nearly so) I'm taking time to recharge, get other ideas out of my head, and plan out where the series is going in better detail. Unlike my last call of Book 1 ending, there isn't a loose hanging thread that will call me back early. Instead, the next time I start posting will be a whole buffet of other works. After that, GPIM will return bigger and better than ever, promise.
