Happy New Year!
I just want to say thank you to everyone that has welcomed me in this community. Everyone who has accepted me as I learned and accepted new parts of myself. Everyone who has enjoyed my stories and who has helped me grow as a writer. And, most of all, all the great friends I've made. Both this past year and ever. It's truly been a pleasure and I'm honored to be here and have no plans to leave unless forcibly removed.
Last year was a mixed bag of writing, but I got some stuff I'm incredibly proud of written. Even if I didn't get to GPIM Haywood as much as I wanted. But The Hunter's Son, The Nerd's Jock, Wild Ride, Injection Site, and the upcoming Countdown to Burstday are enough to make me say that was a great year writing, even if it was mostly posted in the beginning and end. Still, this year one of my resolutions is to do better, more consistent writing and posting. Making and posting good progress on both GPIM and Wild Ride.
It was also a rocky, rough, and not exactly good year in general. As much good happened, it feels like there was so much that went bad. I'm not one to get into details, but it was not great for my mental and physical health. I'm thankful for the escape this community provides and the friends that helped me through.
So, while I fully expect this year to be rocky in its own ways, I at least can hope it will be better. That things won't go as wrong or bad. Happy New Year!
