i wish they would allow to change are user name's there doing all kind of other update's when will they allow us to change are user name's so we don't have to keep making different account's ?.

it's been on their list for years now I think, they just never do it

And yeah, makes me wonder on how hard it is to implement that...

as a guy in the software industry... I could see it not being the easiest thing ever as the username light the primary key for a database, but if it's that, it should only take a few tweaks to the API and transfering all the data from the DB into a new one.

regardless of what exactly it is, a few month of work makes sense, a year dubious but multiple years... unless FA is secretly developed by 1 busy guy in his spare time that only managed to work on it on Saturday, the Devs are probably just straight up not working on it

Yes, username changing on FA has been 'promised' for a while now. But typical FA being itself again, it's nowhere in sight unfortunately.

I wish they'd be a little more transparent instead of giving empty "promises". @_@

You might want to copy over your art but keep both accounts rather than deleting this one. Your gallery is small enough that you could edit the description of all your works to include a ad for and link to your new account, in addition to an (I moved post). I often find new artists by looking at the favorited lists of people with similar tastes to my own and it’s always frustrating when I click on a great piece only to have it say the account was deleted and I have no way to find out if they just moved or are really gone. Having this account permanently acting to direct people to your new account might be good. It also means at some point you could use it for something else, you’d always have a backup with a following or a place to post things that wouldn’t fit on your new account. Might be more effort than it’s worth but it’s something to think about.

I wasn't planning to delete this account, but yeah I was planning to delete the art. But I won't delete the art anymore! I'll just change the description like you said. :D

Though I don't see myself using this account again after I move over completely. I already have another account I use somewhat regularly. XD
