BLFC, Denfur, and now Motor City Furcon. What is it with this string of furry conventions running into serious trouble over the last three or so years? https://motorcityfurrycon.org/news/.....n-open-letter/ I'm beginning to think that with the pandemic, older furries leaving the con scene, and young furries not taking care of the cons they attend, the furry fandom is losing the convention scene. At this rate we will be lucky to hold small fur meets here and there in the coming years. People, con staff can only go so far in running a decent convention. Why? Its because what makes or breaks a con is YOU the attendees. Please take care of the cons you attend and respect the venues they are held in.
On the whole, none of this RL behavior is unusual at fur cons. This is how a few people choose to act while at a furry convention and choose to be indecent. I think it's disgusting and unacceptable that grown people (adults?) act like this in civilized society...in any public venue. It's one of the reasons why I don't go to fur cons anymore.
