Why does RP attract so many snowflakes?

So, I just told a guy I don't RP and asked him to not do stuff like boops or pats your head. Guess what, I got called a snowflake.
This was my answer:
"You called me a snowflake for asking you to not do something. I'd say you aren't perfectly fine if you got trouble with personal boundaries. You can either accept that I do not want something or act like you get to decide over what I like or not. There's an important part to human interaction called "Respect"
I don't care if you RP or not, I'm just asking you to not do it with me, I am not prohibiting you to do it with other people"
Aaaaand I got unfriended. I wonder who the snowflake is if a simple 'No' is such a big deal. I could've guessed by what's on their account that they're an asshole though so I guess it's on me.
