Final Fantasy 7 stuff

I recently was playing Final Fantasy 7 and I got all the way to Lower Sector 4 Plate and already feel super tired, this game honestly needs a faithful remake that fixes a lot of issues the original has, it takes so long to get to a save that I worry my power may go out loosing hours of dialogue progress, makes me tense up.

I haven't played much Final Fantasy games but I know that indoor locations in most RPGs are a nightmare due to checkpoint saves, it's not something they could do about back then as there was definitely limitations of the hardware but it would be nice if they made one where you could save anywhere you want.
