This meerkat is still with the living and dealing with each problem as life throws at me. From the last time I haven't posted I am a big time fan of Beastars and more so of Legosi, the kind grey wolf. Been a fan of him since I saw that scene of his noble self sacrifice of his character to protect Els and Tem potential relationship. I much prefer Legosi's Japanese voice actor since his voice sounds like the vocal equivalent of silk.
Back to inRL maters, I have thankfully paid off my replacement car a year ago. Meaning that making ends meet much easier. Unfortunately, Judging from what I found on social media, Fur cons have changed for the worse. If your not of their collective thought, you could be surrounded and have a shortened trip to that convention. Anyways, why hasn't there be any uploads is because I had someone who was going to do a YCH and they never even produced a rough draft of the image. So I am shy on commissioning anyone because of that still So a previous wip, which was suppose to be of my fursona who was going to be drawn as a sexy clown. The artist had pass away through his own actions and still no word on any progress that he might have done before. https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7887089/ I still feels like it'll bad taste to ask about that to his/her girlfriend.

People have had their nerves rubbed down to the bare metal, and they are no longer going to tolerate anyone's bullshit. Racism, sexism, bigotry, anti-Semitism and the like may have been blown off, dismissed or otherwise ignored in the past, but not anymore.
People have decided that life is too short, and they have too much on their plate to just look the other way or ignore it. Likewise, if you try to hold to such opinions/behavior, people will ghost you like a dead cockroach. If you can't learn how to be a decent person, then people no longer have the time, or the patience, to teach you. Things have gone from quantity of friends, to quality of friends.
Granted, there are those who take things too far? But that's always been the case.
So if you don't want to openly state things like, "The Holocaust didn't happen!" or you refuse to use someone's chosen gender pronouns, then you'll be just fine.
And if you make a mistake, admit it. Admit it and apologize, but more importantly, don't do it again, or your apology is worthless.
So yeah! Pretty simple and easy! :)
The GOP of today is not the GOP of Eisenhower, or Hell, not even Reagan. The GOP of today is screaming full throttle towards totalitarianism, and stuffing coal in the firebox while plugging up the relief valve. Meanwhile, the worst the Democratic party can be accused of is wanting people to stop being assholes while being extra nice to big business.
I suppose if you voted trump in 2016, then people could cut you a break? Nobody expected him to win, after all. And lots of people thought all the truths about him were lies or exaggerations. But if you voted for him again in 2020? Despite knowing what he was/is/will be?
There's really no apology for that. No apology, no taking it back.
And not many ways back, either. None that don't involve a whole lot of work, and a very long time to prove to people that you'll never do something like that again. And not just that, either. You're going to have to prove to people that you understand not just what you did wrong, but understand why it was wrong, and why you'll never do it again.
The problem is...
...you don't have that kind of time.
Nobody does.
Not anymore.
So I guess all you can do is just hunker down and hang on for the ride, because shit's gonna get a little crazy.

There is absolutely no justification you can provide for voting for someone like that.

And good people don't want to be around humans who do things like that.
