Boosty no thanks.
So since a bunch of Russian artists follow me and a few have asked:
I do not believe boosty.to is safe in any way, and will not be purchasing art from any artists who use it.
Boosty's site itself is questionable at best, demands access to personal data, has no customer support of any kind, and is directly involved with dozens of scams and blackmail incidents.
Because of those issues, I feel it is best to avoid it as it's clearly nothing but a criminal website that will eventually "leak" its user information, personal, and financial data.
So yeah, tl;dr if you use Boosty, I will not buy your art. Sorry, and good luck.

FA+

Let's say then, how many cases have there been when customers returned money for already made drawings and Paypal did NOTHING for the artist? Excellent protection that works, unfortunately, only in one direction.
I'm just wondering how you will work with the Russians (of whom there are a lot at the FA)? Maybe through direct transfers through accounts where the commission will be half the cost of the drawing or how...?
so I agree with the people above, it's just ridiculous
but boosty is not a problem for the client, it is paid with paypal that gives protection to the purchase in any case.
but I have read that it has caused big problems for artists who try to withdraw the money.
I'm not from Russia, nor do I use boosty, it's just something I've read. >.<
If the artist wants you to make a refund because Boosty didn't want to let him get the money, in any case, yes... it's dangerous!
