Honestly... I think he pulls off the look and some of the mannerisms pretty well, the voice feels a bit off though, like it's too deep and scratchy and needs to be little higher pitched with a hint of exaggeration. It's hard to tell with so little seen.
I did recognize Dr. Demento in there.
It'd be nice to have a good, fun, silly movie true to Weird Al, but I'm not sure any studio is capable of that right now

I think this is why the film is independent without the Hollywood PC bullshit.
It won't be in theaters which is sad.
And it's independent? There may be some hope... but yeah, sad it won't get a theatrical release
