Honestly... I think he pulls off the look and some of the mannerisms pretty well, the voice feels a bit off though, like it's too deep and scratchy and needs to be little higher pitched with a hint of exaggeration. It's hard to tell with so little seen.
I did recognize Dr. Demento in there.
It'd be nice to have a good, fun, silly movie true to Weird Al, but I'm not sure any studio is capable of that right now
Casting Daniel to play the leading role is Weird Al's idea. . . .
