Hello everyone,
As many of you know some Russian artists had to resort to Boosty.to for taking payments due to the global sanction on Russia.
This has caused some headaches and some breakages. Here's some notes on using the service you should be aware of:

LIMITS
Boosty has a limit of a single donation may not exceed 10'000 roubles
If your converted cost for a commission/adopt is more than 10k please break it into segments of 10k and a remainder.
example: cost = 250EUR ~= 18'000RUB
Thus: payments = 10'000RUB and second payment 8'000RUB

CASH ONLY
Boosty is a pay gateway, and thus requires cash transactions. This means if you only have a bank account linked to your paypal, the transaction will be gateway->gateway.
This will fail.
IT MUST BE CASH -> GATEWAY
In order to get this to work, re-load your paypal with cash by depositing money from your account -> paypal.
It works with Visa/Master cards linked, because these entities act as Guarantors, paying cash to boosty and then sending paypal the bill for your bank account.

FAILURE
Boosty 'fails' allot, sometimes however the transaction was successful!
If you paid and it says failure, please wait 15 minutes, check your account before trying again!!
This is because of their site not getting confirmation.

EDIT: 2022/07/14 FAILURE ON SAVED PAYMENT METHODS
If you successfully used boosty in the past. It will save that payment option.
DO NOT USE IT!
It never works, rather re-add the same payment options every time by selecting the drop down and going 'new method'
