May Update 2022
Hey! Been a while...again. I do apologize, I was held up with class for the past month. Lemme tell you, half-semester classes sound good on paper: half the time, all the credit of a full class, its a win right? good god no. a full semester's content condensed into half the time is not fun. But, on the plus side, I've finished with the content about 2 weeks early and am free for the time being. My next goal for classes is a transfer of credits and continuing towards my bachelors. Slow but steady, Ill get there eventually.
Here's where I'd put my artistic pursuits for the past few months, if I had any. Unfortunately, due to aforementioned class work and my job getting far busier during the spring and summer months, coupled with the fact that we are understaffed to high hell, as well as getting distracted with other pursuits (aka: Elden Ring came out), Ive not really done anything art related. Should have more time for that during the summer though, so I got that going for me. Would like to do more coms, though I seriously need to figure out tax specifics; I know more than I did before, but still have questions (Hey! if you happen to be a career artist reading this journal and know some things about taxes and being a self-employed commission artist, please feel free to poke me with this information! I would be very grateful! I try to do research for this stuff on myself but I tend to end up with more questions, stuff I can't quite understand, or contradicting points.)
Outside of the art world...um, I guess I'm building a garden? Its a small vegetable garden, just something to occupy my time. Might consider putting pics and updates of the thing on twitter if people are interested.
Speaking of Twitter, I have been debating expanding to other places as well, a desire sparked by a number of factors. I am curious though - what other sights might be worth frequenting? I admit, I'm not a huge stickler for social media, so I would be game for recommendations. Ive heard of this one sight recently, Itaku I beleive, that could be worth while, but my knowledge is limited.

If you open commissions I might be interested as I like your art.
Hehe, Elden ring have taken many a hour of spare time among gamers :p
Ooh, vegetable garden. Those are nice.
Taxes based on being self-employed artist might vary from country to country. Depending on how much you earn through commissions, you might not need to pay taxes. Did find an online article about it.

Depends on if you're doing things for exposure or others
Tumblr, twitter, youtube, deviantart, furaffinity, ekas, weasyl, artstation, pixiv,
