I have not yet begun to discover ways to lose data and progress.

I just discovered what happens when you encrypt files and then reformat. The encryption doesn't save on the computer. So all the encrypted files on an external are unrecoverable. Hah Hah! A warning for everyone who didn't know that. Save the encryption key before reformatting or unencrypt the data or you won't be able to get the data back. Hah ha.

The good news is this computer is running swimmingly and I think I can bother the artists or look through old emails to get back most of the art and the previous chapters.

But there was 52 pages of notes that I'll have to recreate. Whoops. So mad right now. But I think I'll be able to remember the important bits. What a great Monday. I want everyone else to have a better day than I, at least. Heh.

Maybe one day I'll run out of ways to lose information on things I have spent a lot of time on, but that day is not today.
