My Eczema Is Getting Better
3 years ago
What's Reptu up to this time?
A reply from that submission "This Dragon Is Not Slain" prompted me to let you know.
It's all because I'm taking an injection called Dupixent, and the eczema cleared up in my worst areas within a few days: my neck and thumbs. I have to administer the injection myself in one of my thighs every 2 weeks. It's a little scary and intense, but not too bad. Along with that, I've been making an effort to take more showers. Still, I have to play video games right after to distract my hands from itching a bit, and to reward myself (Thank you, Sonic Heroes!)
Overall, the results are worth it. There's far less itchiness and redness on my skin. I'm grateful for that, since my suffering has been reduced quite a lot. I've had severe eczema ever since I was born, and finally things are looking up. Also, my hopes of being able to wear a fursuit one day have brightened.
I hope I'll be able to keep taking Dupixent; I'll just have to see what the insurance policies say. If not, hopefully the showers will still help. No matter what happens, I'll be okay.

The injection part freaks me out personally. Needles... Ugh. >.<

Oh yeah, you told me about your intense fear of needles. At least this one isn't big, and you can see it before it goes in. Still might trigger your fears, though.
Man, my body gets shivers just reading that. xD
Do you have plans of getting a fursuit?
And no, it would be too complicated to get it due to the spikes part. ^^;
Oh right, I didn't even anticipate that. And yeah, the spikes are a signature part of your sona's design, so can't forget that.
Of course, it will be very expensive, l bet. XD
