Hey there pals.
Just giving a status report:
Got home from FWA yesterday. Someone I was in very close contact with caught generalized con crud (NOT COVID- he took a test, it was negative, so have no fear!) and I'm hoping that I'm not crudded by tomorrow. I spent today to recover.
Provided that I am not crudded, I will be picking up where I left off on my queue, and hopefully will have any take-homes out on their way by Friday.
It was great to get back to FWA. It was rocky as all fuck, but in a way, it was like going home after a long time away. I don't wish life was like a convention all the time (I would die of a heart attack) but I do wish that my chosen family, as it were, lived close. Anytime I went out, and got lost from the others, what I thought was "Where's my family?" rather than, "Where are my buds?"
