Eurofurence / trip to Berlin
I'm looking forward to meeting up with furries again, this time at Eurofurence this August. I hope I can make more friends there.
This will also be my first time in Berlin. I'm planning to stay a bit longer in Berlin, so I can do some sightseeing after the convention, such as visiting the zoos, maybe some botanical gardens and, of course, the Berlin wall. Does anybody have any more ideas?

I always enjoyed finding the small local places whenever I travel abroad. Finding a small mom & pop cafe or shop where you can actually see them make things. The main tourist spots are generally priced to catch tourists and are always crowded it seems. On my 1st trip to Thailand I took a bus out of the city and walked until I found a small farm. They, of course, couldn't speak my language and I couldn't theirs so I used an old farmers trick and drew with a stick in the dirt to communicate. I spent the day there helping out and had both the meal and the time of my life. And they got a free farmhand for a day. I say that so you might bring a small pad of paper with you and a pencil (mechanical) or pen for you can say with images, sometimes, when words fail.
