Another Minecraft Journal: What is Mojang doing?

Minecraft community is upset and Mojang refuses to accept that the criticism from the community is valid.
They shouldn't show concept art AT ALL if they don't make it abundantly clear that it isn't even planned to be included. Players want fireflies, biomes and renewable Allay.
Most game companies realize this simple fact: Show concept art AFTER it is confirmed to either BE there or NOT be there, not when you're at an uncertain time in development.
Minecraft IS profitable even if this update is "free" it is keeping the game active. I don't know if this is Microsoft putting too much pressure to get things done fast or if it is their PR team telling them to ignore community feedback. Microsoft owns Minecraft for a reason.
Edit: Allay are actually going to be renewable in 1.19.1 or 1.19.2 ("Allay Duplication" with Amethyst)

This isn't even a new thing- players have wanted Fireflies (and jarring them for a light source) since years before they were announced as if they were a confirmed feature.
Showing concept art gives people expectations, to suddenly turn around and say it's not coming... Yeah not sure what they expected the community to say to that.
I don't want to hear them flat out say that features that they treated as if they were finalized and ALL of the art included... to suddenly be removed without warning and given a complete half baked answer like "realism", especially in a game where we have infinite water by placing water buckets diagonally to one another.
They never should have showed the concept art if they were uncertain.
The problem with delays is in many cases with Mojang, delays mean they forget or quietly shelve those plans, which has happened a fair bit. But regardless yes, I'd rather it be delayed then cancelled.
It definitely feels like they threw in the concept art because of pressure from Microsoft to show something. Otherwise I don't know why they did it if they had no idea whether it was going to happen or not. :/
All that other time is spent spreading exotic butters on honeyed brioche buns while they get exfoliating massages from their high end jacuzzis.
Is that really a reason to remove the most important ambient mob we could have had?
